Here's what Jordy sent me to help answer my question of large video files....
As for uploading large videos, if you go to your video in My Pictures, right click your video icon and choose Open With... click on Quick Time. That will open your video, then in the upper left hand corner click File, then Export For Web. A window will open up and you can unclick the two i-phone options (leaving the desktop option checked)and then click the ok button and it should start minimizing your video. For example, the video I just shrank (exported) went from 133MB to 82 bytes. (you can always check that by right clicking on the video and clicking on the properties option) This allows blogger to upload your video quickly, unless it is a huge, huge video, then maybe you need to split it. You can use the same process for shrinking pictures before you upload them (before I learned this it took FOREVER for my pictures to upload on my blog. They were just too big!) Anyway, hope that helps!
